Description
Muscogee Staffing Solutions is seeking a full time Packager. This will be at one of our facilities. Must have some experience and be willing to work in cold environments. The job duties are listed below:
- Packing /repacking meat products using paper wrap, cellophane trays, rollstock machine or vacuum packager.
- Fulfills customer orders.
- Assembles, lines, and pads cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools; puts meat products in vac bags; cleans containers, materials, supplies, tools or work area using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
- Measures, weighs, and counts products and material.
- Examines and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
- Loads materials and meat products into package processing equipment.
- Marks and labels containers, container tags, or products using marking tools.
- Obtains, moves, and sorts products, materials, containers, and orders using hand tools; places and/or pours products or materials into containers using hand tools and equipment, or fills containers from spouts or chutes.
- Records product, packaging and order information on specified forms and records.
- Removes completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas.
- Maintains inventory when requested.
- Assists production crew with processing meat products.
- Other duties as assigned.
