We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Meat Department Maintenance Technician II in our Chino, CA warehouse. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks in the areas of HVAC, Ammonia Refrigeration, PLC Trouble Shooting, Electrical repairs and installations, VFD's, Painting, Pluming, Welding, and Fabrication. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and maintain our building and equipment in the best possible condition.

General Responsibilities
• Responsible for repairing and proactively maintaining mechanical systems in the Meat department and production rooms
- Ability to troubleshoot, identify, and correct routine maintenance and repair problems
- Knowledge of, and ability to operate motorized hand tools and equipment used in maintaining and repairing facilities, buildings and grounds
- Experience with process & packaging equipment, pallet jacks, forklifts, and the commissary building is a plus
- Strong ability to work independently and with others to perform duties with minimum supervision
- Ability to understand occupational hazards and utilize standard safety practices
- Ability to complete all assigned work including preventative maintenance and work orders in a timely manner
Work Schedule + Benefits
- Pay Range is $30.50-$40.00 per hour
The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors. - Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
- Hours: 2:00 pm- 10:30 pm
- Sunday-Thursday
- Some overtime as needed
- Weekend and holiday availability required

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience within a meat processing environment, including a solid foundation of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical/Electronic, and Welding & Fabrication is a plus
- Basic knowledge of PLC & plant automation is a plus
- HVAC or Ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus
Physical Demands/Requirements
- Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
- Cold working conditions - Ability to withstand prolonged work assignments in temperatures as low as 34 degrees Fahrenheit; Temperature fluctuations in the warehouse
- Ability to move freely in and around obstacles common in the meat production room
