POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for trimming meat by hand with a knife, as well as additional duties or tasks.
SCHEDULE:
Monday – Friday 5:30am – 2pm
Reports To: Plant Manager
PAY RANGE:
$19.00 - $26.00
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Unload pallets of meat products and pack meat products from processing lines as dictated by supervisor
• Trim, slice and cut meat products
• Pack bags into boxes and stack boxes onto pallet to be returned to cooler and/or freezer
• Maintain clean production and common area environments
• Additional duties as assigned
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to speak and read English in a clear, understandable manner.
• Ability to accurately follow detailed procedures and processes
• Prior experience in the basics of using knives for meat trimming
• Must have the ability to carry out instructions furnished in both oral and written form
• Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers at all times
• Ability to act in an ethical, honest and professional manner at all times

• Occasionally withstand freezer temperatures
