Meals on Wheels Driver & Homemaking

Job Summary:

We are seeking a trustworthy individual to join our team to help deliver meals and clean the Senior Citizen's homes. As a meal driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting food and materials to their designated locations around the Macclenny area. Mileage will be reimbursed if you use your car. This position requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Duties:

- Safely operate your car to transport food.

- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery.

- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.

- Clean Senior Citizens homes.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Assist with warehouse duties such as forklift operation, organizing inventory, and heavy lifting as needed

- Operate refrigerated trailers or other specialized equipment as required

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Must pass Level 2 Background Screening.

- Must pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
