Responsibilities:
Delivery of Orders:
- Safely and promptly deliver food orders to customers' locations.
- Ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and check orders before delivery.
- Ensure food packaging is secure and intact during transit.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition.
- Perform routine vehicle checks and report any issues to management.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
Follow Traffic Rules:
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Drive responsibly and safely to ensure the security of food and yourself.
- Efficiently plan delivery routes to minimize delivery times and fuel consumption.
Customer Service:
- Greet customers upon delivery and provide a positive and friendly experience.
- Provide updates on delivery status and estimated arrival times if delayed
Time Management:
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
- Prioritize multiple deliveries based on their proximity and timing.
Adherence to Policies:
- Follow company policies and procedures related to delivery operations.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards during transportation.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of local streets and neighborhoods.
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages, including food containers.
