Hours: Business hours, plus on-call requirement every 8 weeks
Pay: Annual salary ranging between $87k and $100k
About the Position
Position is primarily responsible for overseeing the complete processing of the Minimum Data Sheet (MDS) which includes initial assessment, periodic updates, coordination of clinical team’s input, presentation of data, and the development of the care plan and follow-up reports. This position is also responsible for the coordination and implementation of the restorative nursing program.
Job Duties
- Conducts initial assessment of residents after admission according to departmental procedures.
- Coordinates nursing data input on MDS and develops care plan according to departmental procedures.
- Oversees and initiates MDS documentation including admissions, significant changes, annual and quarterly reviews, re-admissions, and resident assessment protocol with supporting documentation.
- Evaluates residents for restorative nursing program in alignment with the MDS cycle. Develops, coordinates, and implements restorative nursing programs as appropriate for residents.
Job Requirements
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Licensed RN required; CPR certification preferred
- Minimum of two years experience in MDS,MDS Certification preferred
