Position Overview:

The MBT Slitter Utility Associate - 2nd Shift will be responsible for operating a slitting machine to cut materials to the unique specifications and production guidelines. The Slitter will set up machines, ensure proper operation, and observe flow of material through machine. This position will also be responsible to complete documentation and reporting, ensure correct packaging is complete, and stretch wrap finished pallets. 

2nd Shift 7pm-7am Monday Night -Friday Morning

The Role:

• Operation of slitting machines
• Adjusting Bobbin bars.
• Packaging of slit bobbins
• Stacking and weighing finished cartons.
• Trucking (by hand) finished palletized goods to the cooler.
• Stretch wrapping finished pallets.
• Must maintain accurate records written and on tablet.

The Experience Needed

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments. 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds 
• Must be able to bend, squat, and complete tasks on the floor
• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
