Department Information
Scheller College of Business undergraduate program ranked top 20 in the nation for a third year in a row (U.S. News & World Report). The Evening MBA program was recognized as No. 1 in the state (U.S. News & World Report), and the Jones MBA Career Center remained top five in the world for the sixth year in a row (The Financial Times). In addition, Scheller's undergraduate and MBA specialties in business analytics, information systems, operations, and supply chain were ranked top 10 in the nation (U.S. News & World Report).

Job Summary

Plan, manage and implement all aspects of on-campus recruiting activities to include scheduling company visits and arranging all visit logistics: customer interfacing with recruiters of corporations, professional service firms and smaller companies. Responsible for financial oversight for department budget formulation and monthly spend and monitoring. Manage the Career Services calendar that incorporates activities with recruiting companies, students who interact with the internal career center schedules. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Corporate MBA recruiters with positions ranging from CEO, president, senior vice presidents of Human Resources to corporate recruiters of national firms, also students and staff. This position will typically advice and counsel: advise MBA students on the effective use of our recruiting/event software system and logistics/best practices for on campus employer and Career Services engagement; advise graduate MBA assistants re: office procedures. This position will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1
Plan, manage and implement all aspects of on-campus recruiting activities, to include scheduling company visits and arranging all visit logistics, with appropriate support correspondence with stakeholders. Facilitating events in person with team.

Job Duty 2
Implement the MBA Career Services recruiting, and event software system used to manage interview scheduling with recruiters and MBA students; serve as subject matter expert and trainer for staff members, corporate recruiters and students on the system. Build and deliver reports for tracking student and employer activity. Communicate with students on opportunities and resources available in this system.

Job Duty 3
Financial administration to include budget preparation, purchasing, monthly variance reporting and P-Card administration. Includes relationship management with vendors.

Job Duty 4
Manage and execute MBA Career Services events to include MBA fall kickoff event, executive visits, and participation in national MBA Career Fairs. Manage interview room schedules, facility upkeep and use of the rooms for the students.

Job Duty 5
Handle Career Services calendar formulation and coordination.

Job Duty 6 -
Supervise graduate assistants

Job Duty 7-
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

This position works independently with a team of 5 employer relations/career coaching professional staff and the Executive Director. Skills desired include relationship building, customer service, comfort with technology, and attention to detail.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong financial and organizational skills, attention to detail required. Relationship building and interpersonal abilities required. The ability to quickly assimilate and learn new technologies and the ability to teach staff and students these technologies is also required. The demonstrated ability to effectively interact with and build relationships with corporate executives, alumni, faculty, students and staff is necessary, along with a positive `can-do attitude. Ability to problem solve independently and collaborate with others at the Institute and beyond. Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast paced environment.

Salary range: $55,000.00- $60,000.00
