Austin Rising School is currently hiring a Mathematics Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. This position requires someone who is creative, compassionate, and works well in a team. Classes are small ranging from 9-12 students.
Qualification Required:
- A bachelor's degree is required for the teaching position, unless you have ample teaching experience in mathematics.
- Applicants should have experience teaching children, preferably of all ages.
- Solid subject matter knowledge in levels of mathematics up to Geometry, to include Algebra I.
- Experience with students with mild learning differences is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
- Create weekly lesson plans and implement them for each grade level
- Teaching grades 3rd-7th grade math
- Communicate well with parents and staff alike.

Working hours:
- 4 day work week (Monday-Thursday), with Fridays off.
- Hours are from 9:00-3:15pm. Tuesday-Thursday and 9:00-2:00 Mondays.
- 21 hours a week
