JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking to hire an experienced Math Instructor to be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to enhance students' mathematical proficiency. Your expertise will be vital in creating engaging and innovative mathematics curricula, promoting problem-solving skills, and supporting students' academic growth. Math subjects include but are not limited to: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, AP Calculus AB/BC, and AP Statistics. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Math Instructor to make a positive impact on our students and their learning goals. This is a Flexible, Part-Time opportunity.
As summer is approaching, we are looking for a History Instructor who can commit to working our summer sessions. Hours in the summer can range from anywhere between 9am-3pm Monday-Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Math or any related field (required)
- Master's degree in Math or related field from an accredited college or university (preferred)
- 1 year experience as a Math instructor or tutor (required)
- Successful track record of developing students knowledge in learning Math (required)
- Professional communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Able to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Enthusiastic about working with students and parents
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Highly organized and detail-oriented (attention to detail and accuracy are imperative)
- Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities
- Good problem-solving skills

JOB DUTIES:
- Collaborate with the Director of Curriculum Development to develop lesson plans and curricula as needed
- Deliver interactive and engaging Math lessons for students
- Assess students' progress through regular evaluations, including tests, assignments, and participation, and provide constructive feedback.
- Provide homework help as needed
- Able to lead a classroom of students effectively and work efficiently with students
- Good classroom management skills
