Job Description
Twin Cities Academy is seeking a Math long term substitute 1.0 FTE for 6th & 7th grade beginning on October 1, 2020. We are currently in Distance Learning.
Twin Cities Academy is committed to serving an urban population of students on the east side of St. Paul to be prepared for the rigor of college. Twin Cities Academy has a commitment to educational equity and the qualified candidate would share our passion for serving students of all backgrounds to reach their highest potential through creating caring and healthy relationships with students.
Qualifications
Required: MN K-12 teaching license, or the ability to obtain a waiver. TCA will support a teacher waiver for the most qualified candidate.
Preferred: Experience working in an urban secondary public school program. Commitment and passion for educational equity and ensuring that all students have equal access to rigorous college-preparatory curriculum.

Twin Cities Academy is an urban, college preparatory, public charter school located in East Saint Paul, MN serving students in grades 6-12. The school's mission emphasizes academic rigor, leadership development, character building, and community engagement through the lens of educational equity. We believe that all students should have the opportunity to attend a post-secondary institution. We have a history of success including being designated consistently as a "Reward" school by the Minnesota Department of Education for our work in closing the educational opportunity gap.
