Job Summary
Work alongside Dr. Tuan Pham as a Research Assistant in Mathematical Modeling. Engage in hands-on exploration of real-world problems like random birth processes and fluid flows. Apply your knowledge of Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Probability/Statistics to analyze and simulate these phenomena. Prior programming experience in Mathematica or Python is a plus. Collaborate closely with Dr. Pham to contribute to innovative research in Mathematical Modeling
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare, manipulate, and manage extensive databases.
- Assist in the preparation of project-related reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
- Obtain informed consent of research subjects or their guardians.
- Perform statistical analyses of data using computer software.
- Verify the accuracy and validity of data entered in databases, rectifying any errors.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
