Maternal Case Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Worker to join our team. As a Case Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families in need. Your role will involve assessing client needs, developing care plans, and connecting clients with appropriate resources and services. The ideal candidate will have experience in social work, crisis intervention, and child welfare.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide crisis intervention services to clients in need of immediate assistance
- Connect clients with community resources and services such as housing assistance, childcare, and workforce development programs
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and behavioral health specialists, to ensure holistic care for clients
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans as needed
- Advocate for clients' rights and ensure they receive the support they need
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Previous experience in case management or social work
- Knowledge of child welfare systems and Section 8 housing programs
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in crisis management techniques and motivational interviewing
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $36.00 - $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
