This position is part of the supply chain team located in Duncan, SC, and will be a fully onsite role. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you'll do:
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of material buyers and production planners comprising the collective Materials Planning team.
  • Develop and implement the annual performance and development objectives for the Materials Planning team.
  • Be accountable for the functional KPIs of the Materials Planning team in support of the supply chain departmental and plant level KPIs and Danaher Core Value Drivers.
  • Work closely with the site inventory leader, distribution manager, and warehouse manager to control site inventory levels and drive increases in inventory turns while simultaneously supporting improvements in on-time delivery.
  • Lead and participate in team, departmental, and cross-functional kaizen events.
  • Champion the Danaher Business System and Danaher Materials System to drive exceptional operational performance in support of the Danaher Core Value Drivers and the site vision and mission statements.
  • Develop, implement, sustain, and manage a robust supplier performance measurement and monitoring program.

Who you are:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years experience in production/supply chain roles or High School Diploma/GED and 9 years experience in production/supply chain roles.
  • 3+ years of direct experience in Materials Planning, purchasing, or production planning roles.
  • Minimum of 3 years utilizing SAP and a minimum of 5 years total experience utilizing MRP/ERP systems.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience ("senior," "team lead," and other influential leadership roles included)
  • Strong user of Microsoft Office software package. Required skills include proficiency in email communication, meeting scheduling, PowerPoint creation and presentation, pivot tables, data charting, document creation, and Microsoft Teams communication (or equivalent).
  • Experience synthesizing information and making informed business decisions supporting the plant-level KPIs with site vision and mission that supersede team or departmental goals.
  • Willingness to gown and operate in an ISO-certified cleanroom environment in accordance with site gowning policies and procedures (<10% of the time).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Direct management of production planning teams
  • Direct management of material purchasing teams
  • APICS CPIM Certification
