Responsibilities:
The Materials Pick & Pack:
- Will receive inventory and ship materials based on Helmer and Customer need.
Relative Work Experience: Prefer 1-3 years related work experience (Pick and Pack) including fork lift experience. Driver’s license required.
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Certifications / Licenses: None required.
Computer Systems / Software: Strong computer skills required with knowledge of Outlook, Word and excel; Fourthshift, MRP, ERP preferred
Specialized Training: Must take Helmer Fork lift training. Packaging methods required
Key Competencies:
- Must be willing and able to drive a fork lift.
- Ability to multi task in fast paced environment (includes checking email while printing labels
- Willing to work as a team and help team members and communicate effectively
- Demonstrates ability to make timely and appropriate decisions based on standards
- Ability to complete own work with little to no supervision
- Capability to follow established procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; concentrate on routine work details amid periodic interruptions.
- Is open to the ideas, diverse views and opinions of others; offers opinions constructively; offers assistance when needed.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly on own.
Base compensation $/17/HR
