Materials Engineer Responsibilities:

• Heavily involved with technology projects involving new coatings, hardware, or other materials
• Responsible for testing and validating new materials in production.
• Design, analyze, and report on experimental studies and new coating technologies.
• Use and apply statistical tools results for effective solutions (Process Mapping, Pugh matrix, FMEA, MSA, etc.)
• Consult and communicate effectively across different teams within the materials teams.

Materials Engineer Requirements:

• BS Chemical/Materials Science/ or similar Engineering discipline
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• 3+ years of Engineer or technical work on coatings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical software (Minitab, JMP, etc.)
