SUMMARY
The Safety Cans Material Movement Coordinator (MMC) will report directly to the Safety Cans Value Stream Manager. This person will be responsible for receiving all material into the plant from vendors and any customer returns, handling production movements in Infor/Mapics for Safety Cans, timekeeping for all BU employees, maintenance and purchasing records for the department. The Safety Cans MMC will work directly with the supervisors and purchasing department to ensure that all supplies and materials are readily available for uninterrupted production to meet customer demand. This person will be also responsible for accurate Safety Cans inventory levels through production entries and audits and cycle counts as needed.
- Receive all material and paperwork coming from vendors
- Receive all Customer Returns
- Maintain Safety Can department monthly budget tracker
- Update requisitions in the FIIX Maintenance program
- Send new requisitions to purchasing as needed
- Ensure that general supplies are kept at determined stocking levels
- Perform Boss transfers of finished goods from Safety Cans to the Distribution Center
- Enter daily production
- Maintain Electronic files of all production documents
- Enter Maintenance Work Orders
- Cycle Count raw materials for Inventory Control
- Maintain an adequate supply of all production paperwork needed
