We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Materials clerk to join our fun and supportive team. The Materials Clerk is responsible for managing inventory, receiving goods, and ensuring the supply of materials for production. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Accurately record data related to procurement, storage, and distribution of materials in SAP and Excel. Utilize intermediate Excel skills for managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and analyzing data.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record discrepancies or damages, and coordinate returns as necessary.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that all materials are available when needed and coordinate the supply of materials to different departments.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, supplies, and discrepancies using SAP and Excel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; further education or certification related to supply chain management is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the materials/logistics sector.
- Proficient in SAP with the ability to navigate and input data accurately.
- Intermediate Excel skills are required, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
