What You Will Learn & Main Responsibilities
This position will support operations by monitoring and analyzing Material and Production Master Data.
- Collaborative involvement with MVD team for the compliance of established data governance.
- Ensures Master Data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality.
- Assists with managing, analyzing, and resolving data initiative issues with close direction of supervisor to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards.
- Assists with managing Optiva data and performing advanced functions in Excel and other applications for analysis and report outputs. Also assists with maintaining and flowing data to GDS, IWorldSync other 3rd party systems.
- Provide assistance to Manager for resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.
Minimum Education
- Must be a rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelors degree at an accredited university in a relevant field of study. Finance, Accounting, Data Science or Agricultural Economics majors preferred.
- Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher
Experience Requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software.
- Ability to work on a team and independently.
- Possess strong analytical, communication and time management skills
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills
Experience Preferred
- 3.25 GPA or higher is highly preferred
- Strongly prefer a rising Junior or Senior who has completed at least 2 college-level finance/accounting courses
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
- May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
- Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
