Job Title: Materials Management Technician
Job Location: Lemont Furnace, PA (Uniontown area)
Position Summary
The Material Management Technician I will support the Materials Management Team in all aspects associated with AAC's internal and external supply chain with a focus on material delivery to internal customers.
Primary and Essential Accountabilities
  • Kitting and delivering Manufacturing Orders to Production
  • Complete stock withdrawals per internal customer requirements
  • Support the Materials Management Team in the receipt, storage, and delivery of goods
  • Collect and analyze data related to inventory counts
  • Utilize MRP software resources to record material transactions accurately
  • Assist in the safe packaging of materials inbound and outbound in accordance with all AAC requirements
  • Interface with other departments to assure efficient flow of information and materials
  • Any other tasks required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Ability to coordinate several activities at the same time, and to reprioritize in response to changing operational conditions
  • Think analytically to solve problems
  • Foster the professional development of Interns and Co-ops through on-the-job training and consultation
  • Promote and support a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Perform assigned tasks in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with
  • State and Federal regulations and any applicable certification required to maintain the certification

Basic Qualifications
  • Requires a High School Diploma/GED
  • Associate Degree in an Engineering related discipline (Electronics, Engineering Technologies, etc.) or equivalent experience
  • Experience with electronics is preferred
  • Must be detailed-oriented with attention to accuracy
  • Experienced handling small delicate components using ESD practices
  • Must be experienced in the safe handling of chemicals
  • Must demonstrate strong decision-making and leadership skills
  • Experienced in the use of various computer applications, including Access and Excel
  • Experience with MRP a plus

Physical Requirements
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs repetitively
  • Walking, Bending, Standing, Kneeling, Stooping: up to 75%% of time
  • Climbing, Sitting: up to 25%% of time
  • Travel: up to 10% of time

The current schedule for this position is:
  • 4/10 work schedule, Monday-Thursday, or 9/80 work schedule, every other Friday off
