Hours: The working hours are from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and this position is required to be on site Monday through Friday.
Duties:
- Inspect, accept, or reject incoming deliveries, inventory all incoming deliveries for Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) in accordance with the agency procedures and policies.
- Promptly report all delivery discrepancies to the Project Manager.
- Stock supply shelves and closets, perform inventory of items stored in Shipping and Receiving (S&R) and closets, and update findings in supply ordering database weekly.
- Manage day to day supply room operations which shall include distributing and delivering supplies to individuals.
- Responsible for ensuring that the cleaning of kitchen/break rooms (including wiping each microwave and refrigerator out) gets accomplished and completed at the end of each month once an announcement has been provided to staff.
- Responsible for custody and care of all items stored in S&R and maintain cleanliness and organization of S&R shelves, tables, and cabinets.
- Assist with office moves, collaborate with PBGC Receptionist on reservations for conference room set ups which includes set up of plasma screen TV, poly-com telephones, and table configurations.
- Be responsible for the removal of surplus supplies from PBGC program areas, stocking pantries with paper towels and other accessories.
- Stocking copier rooms/areas with copier paper of various sizes and work with PBGC copier point of contact by responding to requests for assistance with paper jams and quality problems from end users, and initiates service technician requests.
- Affix and remove signage.
- Provide centralized supplies and office support services.
- Manage and operate a centralized on-site supply center that provides key operating services.
- Manage and process all printing and supply requests and ensure that all required forms are submitted on time to meet printing request deadlines.
- Monitor and order copier paper.
- Responsible for maintaining a list of current supplies and responding to requests for supplies.
- Provide office support services with developing process and procedure documents, supporting ongoing administrative functions, and supporting the PBGC Library/Information Center with managing corporate documents and directives.
- Collaborate closely with Project Manager, Mailroom Manager, and Dock Manager to ensure WSD receives effective and efficient support services.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 40 - 70 pounds and be able to walk for long periods of time during an office move, equipment distribution, receiving merchandise from loading dock, provide escorts to visiting contractors, etc.
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Outlook.
- SharePoint experience or the ability to learn new software programs is desired.
Education and Experience:
- Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience relative experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.35 - $22.10 per hour
