Material Handler/Packager Crane Operator

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated individual who is capable of handling various responsibilities within our production and warehouse facilities. The ideal candidate will possess experience in material handling, packaging, and operating overhead cranes. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate overhead cranes to move materials and products throughout the facility.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas using appropriate equipment.
• Package finished products according to company standards, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Perform inventory management tasks, including stock replenishment and cycle counting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production goals.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of [5] years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in operating overhead cranes and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and follow written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in material handling or crane operation are a plus.
