Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at our Steel Yard. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the safe and timely movement of materials and products.

Responsibilities:

- Operate various types of forklifts, including Hi-Lo, Reach Truck, and Order Picker

- Load and unload materials and products from trucks or containers

- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse

- Perform inventory control tasks, such as cycle counting and stock rotation

- Follow proper warehouse management procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including OSHA standards

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or distribution center setting

- Valid forklift certification or license

- Proficient in operating different types of forklifts, including Hi-Lo, Reach Truck, and Order Picker

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory control tasks

- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment

- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.43 - $25.00 per hour
