EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED and six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic arithmetic.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Ability to operate a forklift and man lift to approved O.S.H.A. standards

PAY RATE

$19.62 per hour

  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Responsible for moving and placing parts and materials ready for processing and storage

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties may be required and assigned at any time

Set up parts in designated areas to prepare for processing

Identifies and ensures that the correct parts are placed in the designated area

Assists Forge Lead with general duties as requested to support the smooth operation of the forge

Reports any problems observed to supervisor whether they are related to storage and placing of parts or equipment malfunctions, etc

Palletizes and straps parts for transportation to off site vendors

Assists with tool changes at various locations in the forge

Moves punch out boxes from forge to PRB for disposition

Must have understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.

Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.
