Temp-to-Hire
Shifts: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm OR 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Pay rates: $18/hr
Some of your duties will include:
- Fully support company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, and recording location of inventory
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
- Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies
- Assists Receiving department in documenting materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units
- Returns materials to stock after production is complete
- Off-road raw materials tankers into storage tanks
- Cycle count product and raw materials as directed by Supply Chain each week
- Supply Fill lines with hard good components for fulfilling work orders
- Supply gallon/pail Fill line with mixed totes as needed
- Mix and sample incoming raw material/finished good totes or drums to the lab for QC approval
- Support pour-out activity for rework or scrap. Maintain records on totes, including red hold tags
- Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspection; making operator repairs
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Be a backup resource during times of short-staffing
- Must have the ability to troubleshoot issues
- Maintain raw material levels (totes & dispersion tanks)
- Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines; travel when necessary
- Contributes to the development and continual improvement of the SHEQ Management System(s)
In this role you will need:
- High school diploma and/or equivalent work experience
- Basic algebra/math skills for calculations concerning percent, dilutions, ratios, averages, etc.
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in manufacturing
- Experience in warehouse and plant operations is a benefit
- Ability to drive a forklift (training and certification with be provided)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 25% of the work shift
- Continuously stand or walk 75% of the work shift
- Must be able to physically run all manufacturing equipment and machines within the plant
- Must be able to bend, squat, climb, reach, climb stairs, and crawl to reach all areas of the machines
- Must be able to lift and carry 15-25 lbs. and frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Requires use of hands for grasping and fine manipulations
- Communicate effectively by listening in both written and verbal forms
- Work includes indoor and outdoor environments during possible adverse weather conditions
