Position Summary:
As a growing company, we are always looking for new team members to help us continue in our success. Currently, we are seeking a Receiving Material Handler whose purpose is to support distribution operations by efficiently scanning, receiving, and staging inbound merchandise accurately and in a timely manner. This employee also sorts the merchandise by department, stacks, and palletizes items to ensure that product is ready to be transported to appropriate staging areas._:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Unloading merchandise by forklift, pallet jack or by hand. Stage inbound merchandise in scanning area
- Verify pallet count and signing for all inbound merchandise.
- Operate handheld scanning to identify, sort, and label received product.
- Restack and wrap product to prepare merchandise to be transported and stocked in appropriate locations.
- Communicates any overages, shortages, and or damagers to Supervisor.
- Deliver scanned merchandise to appropriate staging areas throughout the warehouse.
- Must be able to meet quality and productivity standards.
- Ability to take direction from Supervisor
- Perform others tasks and duties as assigned.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop

- Willingness and ability to work overtime when needed
- Good comprehension and math skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management
- Attention to detail essential and demonstrated problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain records accurately
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines
- Be a team player with a "can do" attitude
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Power Equipment certification or other warehouse experience preferred
- High School diploma preferred
