Wyo-Ben, Inc. has an exceptional opportunity, in its Magnet Cove Facility located in Greybull, WY, for a Material Handler/Packer.
Specific responsibilities may include:
- Fill the appropriate bags to the assigned weight.
- Place filled bags, by hand and/or machine, in proper configuration on pallets.
- Shrink wrap pallets, when required, initialing and dating as necessary.
- Weighing bags at specific times for quality assurance, recording all weights and adjustments on “bag weigh sheets”
- Assure correct date and product are printing correctly on every bag, changing printer production dates as appropriate.
- Stacking bags appropriately to proper height and pattern.
- Operate forklift to transport supplies and finished product.
- Clean-up and maintain a safe, clutter-free work area.
- Work under close supervision and/or standard operating procedures, including strict safety rules and quality specifications.
- Make recommendations to supervisory personnel.
- Interact with other production crew members.
- Responsible for reporting safety, quality, environmental, and equipment concerns to supervisor.
- Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to API Specification Q1, 9th Edition requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
You must have:
- Will train on the job, must be willing to learn.
- Basic math, computer and record keeping skills.
- Peer-to-peer and interpersonal communication skills.
You must be able to:
- Frequently work alone.
- Function under extreme weather conditions and focus for long periods of time under shift work conditions.
- Work around machinery and mobile equipment.
- Sit, bend, stand, work for 8-10 hours per day.
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Comply with any safety and PPE requirements
- Work in the production environment with dust and noise.

You must be able to:
- Pay attention to detail.
- Operate both simple and computerized packaging equipment.
- Be able to operate a forklift, or learn to operate a forklift.
- Produce error free work.
- Be deadline-oriented.
- Be a self-starter who thinks of innovative, faster ways to accomplish tasks.
- Be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Be flexible and able to adapt to out dynamic environment.
