Job Description
- Verifies components and distributes materials to manufacturing lines in accordance with issue sheet
- Reports any damaged inventory or discrepancies with products to management
- Maintains availability and effective control over inventory through FIFO
- Operates a shrink wrap machine and pallet bander as needed
- Performs daily checks of powered equipment
- Operates a sit-down forklift, electric pallet jack and reach truck
- Assists with verifying finished goods are approved for release
- Works in accordance with all safety regulations and Best Sanitizers sop’s and work instructions
- Conducts ground shipping duties as assigned
- Assists with loading and unloading materials and finished goods while ensuring proper handling
- 2-3 years of sit-down forklift experience preferred
- 1-2 years of reach truck experience preferred
- Hazmat experience preferred
- Understands how to read pick tickets, issues sheets and bill of lading
- Basic math and computer skills
- Move up to a maximum of 75 pounds infrequently
- Routinely move 20 – 50 pounds
- Roll 55-gallon drums weighing 350-pounds
- Push/pull up to 70 pounds
- Reach and lift overhead
- Crouch and lift from floor level
- Walk and stand up to 95%; sit to operate fork truck up to 50%
- Work in temperatures between 50° F to 85° F
- Goggles, face shield, gloves, apron; when battery charging/watering, near open product or cleaning chemical spills
- Steel toe or composite toe safety shoes
- Nitrile coated gloves when handling pallets or product as needed
