JOB TITLE: Material Handler

DEPARTMENT: Distribution

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager

EFFECTIVE DATE: 2/08/2024

SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to maintain distribution of product by picking, packing, and sorting orders from our own inventory and trailer delivery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for accurate and safe shipping and receiving of swimming pools and related merchandise.
• Assists in inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levels; participates in form inventory process on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Maintains control of all assigned company property and ensures that equipment is maintained in safe operating condition at all times.
• Order selecting, loading and unloading trailers, and small shipment packaging.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Will provide training on all powered equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse, forklift, and pallet rider experience preferred.
• Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Needs to be extremely punctual. Being able to manage your time effectively is critical to be successful in this role.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Ability to understand all safety requirements and cautions.
• Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.

• Frequently required to stand for long periods of time.
• Frequently required to utilize hand dexterity. Frequently required to stand, bend, stoop, and lift for extended period of time.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.75 per hour
