Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of forklifts and other heavy equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse or distribution center. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts, including order pickers, clamp trucks, and lift trucks
- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers using forklifts
- Move materials within the warehouse or distribution center to designated locations
- Stack and organize products in the appropriate storage areas
- Perform inventory control activities by counting and verifying goods
- Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet productivity targets
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift operator certification/license
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
- Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving activities
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as Hi-Los and clamp trucks
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in counting and stacking merchandise
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on safety

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
