Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable Material Handler / Packager to join our team. As a packager you will be responsible for the efficient labeling and banding of ready sheet metal and coils within our plant. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast pace facility will contribute to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities:
- Able to stand on your feet, stoop, bend and work in a fast pace environment for 8hrs
- Work as part of a team to place pallets onto conveyor belt and use banding and crimpers to secure material to pallet and ready it for the crane operator to move material
- Placing protective corners and plastic covers before shipping
- Following all safety and company protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized area
- Help in any other duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
- Familiarity with similar duties or willingness to learn. No experience is needed
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs continuously and perform physical tasks as required
- Able to work as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
