Material Handler

Pay:

$16.00 per hour

Weekly Pay

Responsibilities:

● Breaking down containers by pulling cartons off the trailers and putting them on the floor.

● Working in Teams and performing safe lifting techniques to load and unload trailers with furniture up to 300 lbs.

● Transporting cartons from floor to pallets via hand trucks

● Staging pallets on the warehouse floor for cartons to be placed on them

● Loading cartons onto trailers and packing containers as necessary Requirements:

● Must be eligible to work in the United States

● Must have reliable transportation

● Must be dependable, punctual, and honest

● Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

● Have at least one year of previous experience in a warehouse setting (PIT is a plus)

● Have experience working in a team to meet common objectives

● Have job history and experience reflecting dependability and reliability

● Prefer working in a fast paced environment with little downtime.

● Be physically able to lift 50 lbs. and walk/stand up to 9 hours in a warehouse daily

● Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to help in other areas of the warehouse as needed

● Be able to work overtime/on-call as needed

Shifts:

● Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
