Principal Responsibilities:
- Transports raw material and WIP from/to production areas to ensure an even and efficient workflow of operations and that material required will be available at the time needed.
- Picks orders from stock inventory, fills and dispenses formulated product and seals drums.
- Utilizes forklifts, pallet movers, drum dollies and carts safely and effectively when moving materials from place to place.
- Assists with cycle counts to ensure inventory is accurate when requested by the Material Handler II
- Changes and cleans filtration equipment ensuring empty drums are rinsed and clear of chemical residue.
- Assists Shipping & Receiving area in the loading and unloading of trucks
- Maintains a safe, clean, working environment through daily 5S and gemba engagement
- Completes other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School degree or G.E.D. required.
- 3+ years of experience driving a forklift with a valid drivers license and a good driving record required and experience shipping/receiving DOT hazardous material a plus.
- ERP experience, preferably SAP, is required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) required
