Material Handler (1St Shift)

Position Summary:

The Material Handler will assist with preparation of the paint-line and powder-coating fabricated materials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Prepare, set up, and test paint spraying.
• Apply powder coating when required to fill any surface imperfections.
• Mix coating materials in accordance with specifications.
• Provide error-free work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.
• Work under direct supervision.
• Support the safety and quality programs by following all accompanying rules and established processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

First Shift: Voluntary overtime opportunity on Fridays when applicable.

• Monday - 5:30 AM to 4:00PM
• Tuesday - 5:30AM to 4:00PM
• Wednesday - 5:30AM to 4:00 PM
• Thursday - 5:30 AM to 4:00PM
• Friday - As Needed (Voluntary OT)

Skills and Qualifications:

• Simple problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools and material handling equipment.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
