Material Expediter

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules
- Review production schedules and work orders to determine material requirements and ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and resolve any issues or delays
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement actions to maintain optimal stock levels
- Utilize supply chain management principles to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
- Implement Lean manufacturing practices to streamline processes and reduce waste
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop demand planning strategies
- Maintain accurate records of materials, orders, and shipments in Oracle EBS or other systems
- Assist in the development and maintenance of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience as an Expediter or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and demand planning
- Proficiency in using Oracle EBS or other ERP systems for material management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
