Key Accountabilities:
As a Material Data Specialist I, you will be responsible for maintaining the data accuracy of the Purchasing department in a variety of ways.
Responsible for uploading material and vendor data into SAP for material creation.
SAP data changes to align with system design and business processes and restrictions.
System data integrity, functioning as the SAP data gatekeeper, maintaining consistency, uniformity, and accuracy of Material Data during and after material creation in SAP.
Daily, weekly, and monthly audits utilizing SAP, Excel, Webi, and other tools / software to identify issues, providing guidance to appropriate teams to address those issues
Technical expert in SAP for the fields we’re auditing, understanding how QBP is using these fields and what they drive in SAP.
Purchase order creation-non-merchandised and merchandised, PO delivery date updates, and intercompany transfers.
Working with OMB to create reporting for all our DC’s to see further upstream as to what is on the water, number on containers and pallets so they can plan for labor and space.
Guides the flow of inventory through shipment, customs and our receiving department, by completing a three-way match between the pack slip, invoice and QBP purchase order.
Ensuring vendor restrictions are accurately represented in systems to prevent compliance issues.
This role will navigate the complexity of the data creation depending on where it’s allowed to be sold, the supply chain channels in which it is purchased and regulatory and compliance needs.
This role will work closely with Product Safety, Inventory Analysts, Customs Compliance, Proprietary Product Managers and our Data Analyst team to ensure that our newly created materials are created with the proper settings that allow, and restrict, how the material can be purchased, sold and where it can be stocked.
This role will develop and maintain templates used for all data requests (Material creation, changes, confirmation checks) that allow internal stakeholders to request system data changes and ensuring this template evolves with our business needs and new suppliers and product types onboarded.
Work directly with the Sales Go To Market team on special promotions to add discounts by material, aligning with the timing of the upcoming sale and removing upon closure of the promotion

Pay range - $48,687.33 - $70,583.51
Hiring range - $50,000
