Material Coordinator Mdrs

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Material Coordinator of the Modernization Displacement Repair Site shall possess knowledge of principles, standards, and techniques of management and must have familiarity and knowledge of applicable Federal, DOD, State, and Local regulations pertaining to the protection of the environment.

The Material Coordinator focuses on review of hazardous materials documentation, relabeling, and packaging of all Hazmat that arrives at the MDRS Facility. This position assists the MDRS Supply Technicians with receiving materials and utilizing automated equipment to provide proper accountability of assets upon receipt at the MDRS. Additionally, the incumbent will perform Warehouse Specialist functions to include stowage of incoming materials under the MDRS. This position requires Hazmat certification and MHE certification.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all contract requirements listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
• Comply with all reporting requirements and adhere to all tasks and requirements in the Performance Requirement Summary (PRS).
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.
• Manage Inventory of incoming freight and ensures freight Is properly marked and stowed in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Assists with moving equipment and Items to designated area upon receipt.
• Band, wrap, and move skids utilizing a powered industrial truck and other MHE as required.
• Analyze documentation for any errors or mistakes.
• Provide Initial inventory and Identification of hazardous material within the HMCP.
• Label skids with Dangerous Goods Declaration form DD 2890 or IATA form Declaration of Dangerous Goods and all other required paperwork.
• Remain current with all hazardous material regulations and guidelines.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Supply Technicians, ISSA Supervisor, and Supply and Services Division Manager.

Must be a U.S. citizen. Potential applicants must be fully vaccinated no later than December 8, 2021. Paid relocation assistance is not available. Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance or clearly state a willingness to relocate his or herself.
