Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is the premier custom industrial refrigeration system design builder in the world. We engineer, design, manufacture and construct custom refrigeration solutions for our customers. Our footprint continues to grow nationwide and we are looking to add motivated individuals to our Engineering Compliance Team.

This role will be responsible for material management for inbound and outbound shipments to ensure our products are efficiently built and our teams are setup for success. We build complex systems, and it is critical to have a person in this role who can organize and prepare materials by assembly. This person would directly support the fabrication and construction teams and allow them to perform their job functions with less downtime on receiving materials.

Key Duties:

  • Identify, locate, organize, and package parts and materials to be shipped to field project teams with a focus on organization and ease of access
  • Prepare outbound project materials
  • Break down and inventory inbound project materials
  • Manage inventory to ensure materials are available when needed
  • Pull material from inventory to be used by fabrication foremen
  • Perform inventory cycle counts
  • Assist with other duties in the Shipping & Receiving department as needed

Requirements:

  • Passion for organization; your work will directly improve the efficiency and success of our construction teams
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn refrigeration industry parts & materials
  • Strong communication skills; this role will interface with multiple teams and levels of leadership within the company including: project managers, fabrication foremen, & shipping/receiving teams
  • Deadline driven; this is a fast-paced position
  • This position is a safety-sensitive position and will require pre-employment and regular drug testing

Preferences:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Interest in advancing into a management level role
  • Owner mentality with a desire for process improvement
