As a Master Hair Stylist at Nemacolin, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our salon services. This position requires a seasoned professional with an extensive background in the salon industry, demonstrating a mastery of various hair styling techniques. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and elevate the quality of services delivered to our esteemed members and guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Service Excellence:

• Execute exceptional hair styling services, setting the benchmark for quality and creativity.
• Provide expert consultations to clients, ensuring their desires and expectations are met with precision and attention to detail.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and integrate innovative techniques into the salon's offerings.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular assessments of salon services to ensure consistency and adherence to the resort's high standards.
• Implement and maintain best practices in hygiene, safety, and sanitation within the salon.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and inspire a team of skilled hair stylists, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Provide ongoing training and development to enhance the team's skills and keep them updated on the latest trends.

Member and Guest Relationship Management:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with members and guests, creating a loyal customer base.
• Address guest concerns and feedback promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee the procurement and management of salon products, ensuring a well-stocked inventory of premium hair care and styling materials.

Promotions and Marketing:

• Collaborate with the VP of Wellness and Spa along with the resort's marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities to attract new guests and retain existing ones.
• Participate in marketing initiatives, such as photo shoots or fashion events, to showcase the salon's expertise.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Pennsylvania state Cosmetology License or ability to obtain a Pennsylvania Cosmetology License due to currently having a valid Cosmetology License in another state.
• Proven experience as a Master Hair Stylist with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a luxury salon environment.
• Able to sit 80%, walk 10% and bend 10% of time.
• Must be able to speak English. 
• Highly articulate/well-spoken (will provide proper resort / knowledge training)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current trends/skills.
• Proficient in a wide range of hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring and texture styles.
• Excellent leadership, customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
