Marketing/Social Media Specialist

This position entails:

• Strong copywriting skills
• You are very detail oriented
• Self-motivated and driven to help your clients exceed their goals
• Experience with Canva
• Experience making reels and basic video editing
• Engaging onsite with clients to capture photos, videos and to learn about what's happening on the ground
• Managing Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and other media platforms like YouTube
• Daily platform engagement
• Developing and implementing organic campaign strategies across a range of online media platforms
• Analyzing and measuring results
• Bonus if you have experience with Meta ads

This position works closely with our clients, collaborates with the entire team, and reports directly to management. Responsibilities include copywriting, creative development, daily social platform engagement, weekly analytics & reporting, utilizing publishing software and time management software, campaign coordination and management.

Daily/Weekly Responsibilities

• Copywriting and editing
• Platform engagement
• Social media calendar development (copy and creative)
• Scheduling and publishing calendar content
• Onsite content collection for monthly campaigns
• Client communications
• Collecting monthly analytics and generating monthly and annual reports
• Brand reputation management
• Represents Swell Media Solutions at community events
• Market research. Ongoing research into client’s industries proposing adjustments to strategies and approach as necessary
• Additional duties as assigned

This position requires on-site and in-person work a few times a month, otherwise, the team works remotely. There is a mandatory team meeting every Monday at 9am that everyone is expected to attend.

Pay: From $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
