Job Description:
The Marketing Technologist, reporting to the Marketing Manager, Strategy, has a deep understanding of both marketing and technology and uses big-picture thinking to apply those skills to meet company growth objectives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with other technical teams to ensure that digital platforms comply with regulatory and brand guidelines, enhance business processes and workflows, provide a satisfying user experience, and support company-wide sales and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will collect and translate data and research into actionable insights that inform marketing strategy and user experience. This position requires collaboration across departments and setting and managing project deadlines to deliver results. Success in this role requires a firm understanding of company objectives and the ability to prioritize and align people, processes, and projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, document and support automated processes in marketing systems and related integrations
• Maintain and optimize sales & marketing platforms, including websites and landing pages
• Manage marketing technology vendors and outsourced projects
• Monitor and report on marketing metrics with a focus on website analytics, heatmaps, and user testing
• Administer and support the CRM systems, including customization and user management
• Ensure data integrity across marketing platforms, including quality control and adherence to best practices
• Assist in the technical aspects of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, email marketing, social media, and post-campaign reporting
• Conduct training on the use of marketing technology tools, including CRM and lead generation
• Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations concerning customer data security and privacy
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, working closely with other technical teams as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve and simplify tools and drive technology solutions at scale
• Assist in HTML/CSS edits for internal email templates
• Support, troubleshoot, and optimize CRM <> work management system APIs

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or operations; or equivalent experience
• Minimum (3) years of experience in Marketing Technologist role or similar
• Minimum (2) years of experience in CRM system integrations, data mappings, configurations, implementations, data migration and administration
• Strong proficiency in HubSpot CRM preferred, or Salesforce CRM
• Proficiency in GA4, Google Search Console, and other reporting systems relevant to marketing preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Figma is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data
• Analytical problem solver with good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, creative person with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas
• Goal-driven with a team player mentality
• Experience in insurance / the warranty sector is preferred, but not essential
