Flip Aquatics is the largest online retailer of freshwater shrimp in the United States and still growing! While we are known for shrimp, we also specialize in other aquatic pets for freshwater aquariums. We ship hundreds of animals each day with the goal of constantly raising the standards of animal care in the aquatic industry while also serving as an educational resource across our marketing channels. As we continue to expand and evolve, we are seeking a talented Marketing Team Member to join our team and contribute to our growth.

Job Overview:

As a Marketing Team Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing efforts of our company. You will work closely with the Marketing Team to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engage our target audience, and ultimately contribute to the company's overall success. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize creative skills, and make a meaningful impact on the company's marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies to achieve company objectives.
• Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, email campaigns, and print materials.
• Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior and trends to identify opportunities for growth.
• Develop and execute Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the company's website.
• Support the coordination of marketing events, promotions, and campaigns, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
• Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data and analytics to optimize results and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing, and incorporate relevant insights into strategies and tactics.

Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of experience in marketing, preferably in a similar industry or role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for different audiences and channels.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and analytics software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for exploring new ideas and approaches.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Salary:

• Starting Salary based on $16 per hour ($1,387.00 per pay on the 1st and 15th for full time + health care)
• Expected to work between 40 to 45 hour per week
