JOB BRIEF:
The marketing support specialist is responsible for supporting the E-Commerce, direct-to-consumer sales channel within Power Distributors. This position helps drive profitable sales by helping manage and oversee promotional activity, advertising spend, technology platforms, and performance metrics. In addition, the role works to actively resolve customer issues and respond directly to customer-initiated inquiries. This position requires the ability to adapt, problem solve, and manage multiple tasks with urgency and accuracy.
- This position is a Hybrid role with opportunities to work from home.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor Amazon Seller Central, eBay, Shopify and other E-Commerce channel activity.
- Ensure all digital content is up to date, within standards and guidelines, and consistent throughout all platforms leveraging a product database
- Partner with internal teams to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner and meet requirements to maintain performance metrics and customer expectations
- Create, manage, and optimize product listings, including item descriptions
- Monitor, analyze and report on channel sales and other key metrics
- Analyze and recommend changes to current promotions or ad spend based on prior channel results
- Develop and implement new promotional activity based on prior channel results
- Serve as primary contact for E-Commerce content related issues
- Respond to customer-initiated inquiries via email and phone
- Process customer returns across multiple marketplaces
- Process some sales orders, invoices, and credits on an as needed basis
- Other related tasks, as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing, or Business preferred
- Experience with Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and NetSuite platforms a plus
- Able to manage multiple tasks and re-prioritize work quickly
- Creative thinking, critical thinking skills, and the ability to innovate
- Strong organization & planning skills; attention to detail
- Lawn and garden industry, small engine, or related experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility, open-mindedness, and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment

Briggs and Stratton engines are incorporated into products for both the consumer market and industrial/commercial applications. We are also responsible for the sales and marketing of Briggs and Stratton Power Products including consumer and commercial generators, consumer and commercial pressure washers. We also distribute Oregon Equipment Parts, Oregon Cutting Systems, and several other allied parts lines.
