Job Summary
As an integral member of the College's Marketing & Public Affairs department, the Marketing Project Coordinator assists in the project management, marketing strategies, and content generation for short-and long-term marketing communication initiatives for departments across campus. As the main point of contact for requests, the Marketing Project Coordinator prioritizes requests, collaborates with Marketing & Public Affairs team members to manage team resources and manage projects effectively.
Ability for demonstrating LSSC's core values of Caring, Communicating, Collaborating and Celebrating when interacting with students, employees, visitors, and community members.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensures brand consistency across various Marketing Projects.
  • Supports the enforcement of brand standards across the College.
  • Manages marketing initiatives including print, digital, advertisements, event promotion, social media support, and web content.
  • Supports the development of marketing strategies to achieve goals and respond to inquiries in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Prioritizes incoming project requests to ensure alignment to strategic priorities.
  • Coordinates Marketing Projects, including research, liaison with communications, design staff, photographers, video, web and media production staff and vendors.
  • Maintains records of previous projects, including art and photography assets, for efficient reuse and retrieval in future Marketing Projects.
  • Sets appropriate project deadlines, assign tasks, and hold individuals accountable for deliverables.
  • Tracks outcomes of Marketing Projects to verify goals and success metrics are achieved, and updates strategies as appropriate.
  • Works independently and collaboratively to design and develop a wide range of creative materials including, but not limited to: digital/social ads, emails, print campaigns and assets, event signage, brochures, banners, magazine/newspaper ads, social media content, video graphics, landing page graphics, reports, booklets, etc.
  • Provides consultation to departments to determine needs, establish goals, and support campaign creation.
  • Ensures that all work is on-brand and meets project objectives with messaging and visual applications.
  • Attends internal and external school/college events to support, market, and promote the college.
  • Perform other tasks as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders of all organizational levels.
  • Able to work well independently and take initiative on new projects.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with demonstrated success in driving projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent writing skills in various communication formats.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives at once in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety rules, safety laws, regulations, standards and practices.
  • Ability to work various hours including nights, early morning and weekends.
  • Ability to travel amongst various campuses and attend College events, or off campus, as required.
  • Ability to work well with a diversity of personalities.

Minimum Qualifications & Education
  • Bachelor's degree in art, design, marketing, communications, project management, or an appropriate field required.
  • 2-5 years' experience.
