Job summary
We are currently looking for a Marketing ManagerMedia & Entertainment USA&CA based in Los Angeles who is passionate about the entertainment industry, film and television production, and technology.
You will be responsible for generating demand and hands on content creation for our solutions through developing marketing campaigns, working with partners and databases to uncover new prospects and target existing customer groups within the Media & Entertainment segment.
You will be involved with lead generation, prospecting, digital marketing campaign development, content creation, social media profile development and qualifying new account opportunities.
It is expected you have a strong understanding of the Media & Entertainment industry (film production, VFX, gaming, etc) and to collaborate with all key internal stakeholders including direct sales colleagues, R&D, and Product Management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive growth in sales of Leica Geosystems Solutions within the Media & Entertainment segment by working with sales representatives to generate more leads and create targets campaigns
- Plan and execute digital marketing activities, direct email campaigns, SEO/SEM, digital advertising, email nurturing, and social media together with internal and external partners
- Define and create marketing plans based on strategic marketing and segmentation, identifying relevant target audiences, profiles and needs
- Create content for marketing campaigns including articles, brochures/flyers, social media posts, infographics etc
- Assist and support sales team with content and tools needed to prospect and develop new business
- Work with customers to create testimonials and customer success stories
- Work with salesforce maintaining database accuracy and information to develop sales campaigns
- Taking the lead on creating and executing a strategic content plan to grow the company's social media outreach for the Media & Entertainment segment
- Manage Internal & External Marketing Events
- Attend and effectively leverage Leica Geosystems presence at events, fairs and exhibitions
- Boost Company's Online and Social Media Presence (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc)
- Help strategize marketing for company business development initiatives & brand/corporate collaborations (B2B, partnerships)
- Other tasks and projects to be added on an as needed basis
Desired Skills
- 2-3 years in Marketing field
- Experience in Media & Entertainment or tech
- Knowledge of industry trade publications, awards, and events
- Extensive experience with web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), WordPress, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), paid media (e.g., Google Ads), and CRM/marketing automation (preferably Pardot)
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in marketing or a related field
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Calendar/Docs and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (preferred)
- Graphic design software proficiency (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Native or fluent English
- Professional experience with social media platforms, incl. TW, FB, LinkedIn and Instagram
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail and effective follow through
- Creative mindset, on trend with modern marketing campaigns and knowledge of influencers in various sectors
- Ability to demonstrate "forward facing" communication skills and practices as needed
