Marketing Manager - Events
What We Need
The Marketing Manager, Events will report to the Marketing Director, Events and under their direction will be responsible for supporting and executing demand gen programs to include tradeshows and events cross all sales channels. Specifically, the Marketing Manager, Events will use innovative measures in collaboration with sales leaders and marketing team members to plan and execute tradeshow events to generate pipeline for the sales teams while establishing and growing brand awareness, and positioning Corpay as a thought leader in the industry.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Tradeshow Management: Working with the Director of Events, plan, strategize, and execute all aspects of corporate tradeshows. This includes booth design, logistics, promotional materials, messaging, booth promotions, pre and post show promotions, and on-site management.
  • Sales Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales leaders and team members to align tradeshow activities with sales objectives. Provide support during events to facilitate client interactions and lead generation.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors, exhibit designers, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective event execution.
  • Travel and On-Site Attendance: Travel to various tradeshows, overseeing setup, execution, and breakdown of events. Ensure that each tradeshow is organized and executed to meet organizational standards.
  • Post-Event Reporting: Analyze event performance, gather feedback, and provide reports to management with recommendations for future improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related discipline with strong academic performance (3.0GPA or higher)
  • Prefer Eastern or Central time zone, and geolocation near a major airport
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ work experience in a similar role and field
  • Hands-on experience in corporate tradeshow and event coordinating, event management & logistics and event marketing strategies
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel - potentially up to 50% of the time
  • Proficiency in MS Office and event management software
  • Project management software experience is preferred (Asana is current software used by the team)
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Must be detail and deadline-oriented
  • Should be self-motivated and willing to adapt in a fast-paced environment
