The Marketing Manager will be responsible for market research, understanding trends and customer preferences, creating, coordinating, and executing marketing strategies and budgets, responsible for creation of marketing materials and content, and performing all other relevant tasks essential for increasing the business's sales.
This is an onsite role, and some travel will be required. Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Bakersfield, CA 93311 before starting work (Required).
As part of our Team, your duties will include: (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Oversee product/services development and monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and/or services.
- Maintaining brand integrity and consistency across all print and digital assets, collateral, and campaigns.
- Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services that aid the company in meeting or exceeding budgeted sales expectations.
- Analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Responsible for implementing content and graphics on online platforms (web, social media, intranet, marketing automation, etc.).
- Promote brand awareness and/or increase sales volumes.
- Analyze market trends and conduct competitor research.
- Supports communications (announcements, presentations, articles, newsletters, intranet, internet, press releases, etc.) and external marketing (onsite signage, advertising, collateral, etc.) for the company using copy that maintains brand integrity and aligns with company vision.
- Support of digital marketing initiatives including marketing automation, email marketing, text marketing, social media, SEO, website management, etc. to increase customer satisfaction, increase membership retention, increase membership conversion and decrease membership churn.
- Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
- Perform market research to find new opportunities.
- Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or local organizations/clubs, working with developers or advertisers, to market products or services.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three or more years of progressively responsible experience in marketing and/or related fields.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that represent customer service proficiency.
- Stellar time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create, implement, and monitor budgets.
- Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services.
- Willing to travel on a regular basis to all company locations on an as needed basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
