About the Role:
Mass Virtual is looking for a highly motivated, self-starting, and creative Marketing Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic creative, with a keen ability to create, coordinate, and track marketing collateral and projects.
What you’ll be doing:
A writing portfolio must be submitted with application.
- Lead the design, solution, implementation, and documentation of all marketing projects
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice across all channels
- Design and manage internal marketing workflows and processes
- Assist with the administration and management of social media platforms, including designing and presentation of social media campaign ideas
- Assist in planning, coordinating, scheduling, and hosting business development, trade show, and marketing events
- Update, organize, track, and maintain the inventory of collateral marketing materials and digital assets
- Create, coordinate, and track marketing projects, such as presentations, newsletters, brochures, email and direct mail campaigns, flyers, etc.
- Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends
- Print and distribute materials for executive presentations and prospective meetings
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What you need to succeed:
- 5+ years of proven experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field or a combination of education and relevant experience
- Familiarity with Marketing Computer Software and Social Media platforms
- Understanding of Social Media Post elements and successful execution of posts across platforms, inclusive of copy and visual
- Professional writing experience
- Ability to multitask and independently drive success in the Marketing Department with minimal supervision or guidance
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proven experience simultaneously managing and prioritizing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders
- Microsoft Office Expertise, with a strong emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to gain a U.S. Security Clearance
Great to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or similar field or combination of equivalent education experience
- Graphic Design experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Software particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Acrobat
- Experience using Social Media Management Tools (such as Hubspot)
- Experience working with the Department of Defense or another Federal Agency
