Job Description
Marketing Intern
Brookfield Properties is excited to invite a Marketing Intern to join us for the summer at our Chicago office.
The Marketing Intern will assist the marketing department with the key consumer and tenant facing programs. These may include digital campaigns, in-mall activations, updating websites, drafting press releases, social media monitoring, or summarizing trends.
Responsibilities
Back to School Campaign
o Assist the campaign team in the execution of the BTS in-mall program and national campaign, including reviewing creative copy and assets. Additionally, help campaign manager distribute assets to the channel team
o Partner with channel team to optimize the channel strategy of the BTS campaign to drive awareness of program and key messages
o Research and document peer and brand BTS campaign approaches
Partner to Empower Program
o Assess current PTE program to understand key drivers and barriers of application process and successful program participation
o Assist in planning and executing a PTE program wave, including creative execution, targeting programs, administrative tasks, press releases and email journey optimization
o Assist in the development of the evolution of the Brookfield University component and how that marries with the overall PTE program
Qualifications
Education
o Currently enrolled in a university program and must be a graduating Senior (Grad Date Dec 2024-May 2025)
Experience
o At least one marketing class
Skills
o Knowledge of marketing strategies, including continuing education of new marketing tactics and tools
o Strong verbal and written communication skills
o Familiarity with a variety of social media platforms tools
o Organization and time management skills
o Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
Characteristics
o Ability to quickly learn and process information
o Ability to work with teams and collaborate
o Ability to work with confidential materials and engender trust among key constituents
o Detail-oriented, especially regarding validating clarity and accuracy of content
