DSI is a sales enablement company that has an immediate career opportunity for a Director of Marketing. This position is responsible for developing, managing, and overseeing the execution of DSI’s brand strategy and marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving brand awareness and customer acquisition and will be well-versed in the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
*This is an in-office position that will report to our Richardson, Texas location.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy that aligns with DSI’s business objectives and marketing goals. Extend corporate campaigns to specific marketing needs of vertical managers.
- Implement content distribution strategy to maximize reach and engagement across various channels.
- Develop and manage marketing campaigns across all digital channels, including DSI’s corporate website, social media channels, and partner platforms, ensuring brand compliance and consistency.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to recommend, modify, and shepherd existing partner marketing content for digital/social media platforms, and traditional marketing vehicles (print, events, merch, and radio/TV) for DSI dealers and partner services.
- Utilize analytics tools to track and optimize the performance of marketing campaigns; provide regular reports and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to achieve excellent ROI.
- Organize, manage, and oversee the execution of company offsite meetings, including DSI’s annual National Sales Meeting.
- Represent DSI at industry events and conferences; manage the logistics of our attendance, including negotiating our booth costs, the shipping, delivery, and setup of our booth display, scheduling, staffing, and return of all equipment.
- Oversee a team of dealer event professionals who identify, negotiate, and process contracts for our partners’ dealers across the country.
- Create and deliver presentations for a variety of audiences including DSI executive teams, existing partners, and potential clients.
- Manage the development and updating of company marketing promotional materials, including but not limited to print flyers, conference/expo booth videos and handouts, and company pitch presentations for multiple audiences.
- Oversee the company’s internal/external merchandise efforts (shirts, mugs, holiday gifts to employees/vendors, etc.)
- Manage a to-be-hired marketing professional to support the Director in executing these duties. The new position’s title, role, and responsibilities will be determined after the Director has been hired. The new position will report directly to the Director of Marketing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years in a digital/social media marketing role, preferably with leadership responsibility.
- Proven track record of success in brand marketing, focusing on developing and implementing strategies that drive business results.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with an ability to lead/influence others.
- Proficiency in project management with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook, etc.)
- Experience with digital marketing platforms (social media/email/SMS) and best practices, analytics tools, SEO/SEM
- Creative thinker and problem-solver, able to adjust to a rapidly changing industry.
- Competent copywriting skills with experience writing press releases.
Computer Skills
- Required: Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook); Adobe Acrobat; strong computer proficiency, web conferencing (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Highly Preferred: Cloud-based content storage, organization, and file-sharing expertise
- Highly Preferred: Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
- Preferred: A/V setup and troubleshooting skills (projector setup, TV, video, audio-conferencing systems, etc.)
Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Marketing or related field (e.g., Communications, English). Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
